Brrrr Berlin, here comes The Cambodian Space Project
Okay…. this is going to be an amazing experience for TCSP despite a 30 -40 Celsius (°C) temperature drop… we’re ready to make the CSP’s first landing in Berlin to present ‘Galaxy Khmer’.
Galaxy Khmer is the CSP augmented by 3 additional musicians on traditional Khmer instruments and well as 3 fabulous dancers all set against a backdrop of animations created by filmmakers Marc Eberle and Tim Huys. Our Galaxy Khmer shows are a collaboration with renown stage director Michael Laub, Cambodian arts organisation Phare Ponleu Selpak, filmmaker Marc Eberle and the Hebbel Am Ufer (HAU) theatre in Berlin.
Premiering on 16/17th January at HAU, ‘Galaxy Khmer’ will then travel onto Bergen, Norway. Following these dates, CSP strips back to a four-on -the-floor Cambo psych rock band and hits the road for a brisk run of winter shows in Switzerland, France, Italy and Germany.
