Opening Party and live music performance Saturday 21, September.
An exhibition of print art by Julien Poulson, founder of The Cambodian Space Project. In 2012, Poulson established a print making studio in Phnom Penh, initially to produce image for his cross-culture music group The Cambodian Space Project but this soon grew into a new art project offering the opportunity to create original print art as an insight into the heady mix of visual imagery from Cambodia’s ‘golden era’ of swinging 60’s Phnom Penh through to present day scenes where the ancient is jammed in against rapid modernization.
Poulson’s prints offer a psychedelic trip through the beguiling icons of 60’s Cambodia to today’s cultural revival.
