Sochi, Dara and Julien & special guests preview new songs in tribute to Kak Channthy.
Sochi and Sam Dara are each brilliant new singer songwriters on the Cambodian scene and are produced by Julien Poulson who has co-written new songs with the emerging singers, first as part of the CSP Mothership and now part of Cambodian Women of Song – a live music review performing the HERstory of the great siren singers of Cambodia.
Coming up at Phnom Penh’s favourite musician’s retreat the Good Times Bar, this acoustic set by Sochi, Dara and Julien will be the first chance for the trio to perform much of the new material they have produced in recent months as well as song already featured and garnering popularity through music videos released on Facebook and Youtube.
Join us this Sunday night for a special preview of brilliant new voices emerging from out of Phnom Penh’s vibrant music scene and from under the wings of The Cambodian Space Project.
